Yes, it will be an interesting time. If one or more players mark Anel then that should present chances for other players to make the most of. We're not short of players with height so let's hope Hecky and his staff are already working on the possibilities that come our way. I recall Leeds and Man Utd C/H Gordon McQueen being a perfect example of a player whose height and tenacious style of play (shorthand for uncompromising?) made it almost impossible to mark cleanly. All this suggests are positives, and I'd hope we learn quickly how to profit from these opportunities.

You mark forwards, not box to box marauders like Anel, it's impossible.

I’m tempted to start one about if he should dye his hair blond. Anel Bleaching?

I like the Anel tribute some of our fans have been doing in the stands recently. The Bosnian flags. It’s a nice touch.

Anel in space. Think he relishes those pockets of emptiness down the right.

I thought the OP was meaning marking AA at corners.

Something nice I noticed about the header he scored was that for once we didn't have 5 players standing in front of the keeper and invariably giving away a needless free kick.

We actually clustered between penalty spot and edge of the box and ran forward to attack the corner.

I was contemplating starting a thread about him watching tomorrows boxing, Anel Fisting?
The title of the thread was going to be anel marking man to man

I think teams will set up to exploit the space left behind him when he goes forward on the counter.
