Agree but I dont think it's just the Soutter effect.
Think Cooper's presence and calmness when receiving the ball with either foot and passing it out with either foot was a big factor too.
Wes was a good shot stopper but terribly one footed and always capable of a total blunder when receiving the ball or passing it out to his defenders.
Having Cooper and Souter in the team totally takes the pressure off Anel.
Also our playing the ball out from the goalie and calmly passing it around the defence whilst their attacker try to close us down
is a good tactic because it again relieves the pressure.
There was a spell when Watford were having good possession in the 1st half and starting to build a head of steam.
So when Cooper had the ball, we just passed it around the back line for 3 minutes, letting things calm down taking the wind out of Watfords sail.
This is called in-game management and sometimes when under pressure we need to regain control of the game.
