To be fair, Gordon looked pretty decent today and the game time has obviously helped him.

Osborn has managed well too, to be considered a more than serviceable stop gap.

If we are getting Baldock back, Davies back and hopefully Bash, then we may well have just weathered the storm (also Stevens adds to th rotation options though appreciate on the left). We really needed cover for Millwall, Forest and Coventry but dopey bollocks ruined that well thought out bit of business with his red card vs Blackburn and three match ban. He would have been handy vs Forest and Millwall in particular given we conceded headed goals.

I think we need to look at the other end of the pitch with Billy coming off. At least with defenders back you can look at Osborn further forward. A front three of Berge, Gibbs-White and McBurnie supported by N'Diaye, Osborn and Jebbison gives some options but we will miss Billy. If there are any frees for up front or available due to this Ukraine scenario, now is the time to crack on.

You’d have to imagine these lot can’t be any closer than Andre Wisdom was, all were released last summer except Lichaj who hasn’t had a club in over a year. Wouldn’t mind us running it back with Cranie but concerning he hasn’t found a club.
