I think this team and squad is set up not to get thrashed, lose games yes that’s inevitable we have very little creative flow but there’s nothing there’s no high scores I can see but being honest and fair with Wilder he’s never been a manager that has had that free flowing football perhaps he’s tapped into what the real United is. The best football we played was the over lapping centre backs because we weren’t so square I can’t see that happening for a long time if at all.

Brooks will be off for £25m in a year or two. To think we paid nearly the same amount we received for him on Mark bloody McGuinness.

Regards McGuinness, though we have paid over for him I think at present he is doing a job and is what we need in this strange slanted squad. Steady, no thrills defender. I think his name makes him sound like a donkey more than out. Only seen him play in flesh once and I was shocked at how not shit he was.

We are well overdue a thrashing the way we've been playing, I can see the Norwich game being a 3 or 4 nil loss with Brooks playing a staring role

Err Rothwell, Phillips, Doherty, Jairo (in 9 days time), even the ones who arent are close on to 30 Choudhury is 29 in a months time. They r either loans or have no resale value. The squad is degrading before our very eyes. Mainly due to the board but also due to us bringing in players who we cant develop and sell at a profit.

Not sure what the mid to long term plan is. End of season we will not have Choudhury, Phillips, Rothwell, Riedewald, McCallum, Bamford, Doherty, Donovan, Seriki (out of contract/end of loans) and then Tanganga, O Hare, Cooper, Peck, Burrows, Arblaster will only have a year left so by club policy all might be sold?

Ok though as we have long term deals for McGuiness, Chong, Cannon so the future is bright!

There is part of me that thinks we need to clean house snd start again as this group is going nowhere but the better players are leaving and we are stuck with the dross noone else wants so means we have to rely on our scouting and transfer recruitment to pick up some fresh and exciting talent to rejuvenate the side...

I dont think we have a mid to long term plan as who is making the plan? The CEO is an accountant and managers operate season to season and CW is doing what he thinks is best but thats bound to be short term as he needs results now. I dont want to go down the DoF argument but its clear that if we continue like this we are up the creek without a paddle

FML is Seriki really up in the summer? He’s our only other chance of getting a £20m sale to fund the club’s rebuild and avoid circling the drain to league 1. Brooks should’ve been another opportunity but our genius accountant CEO messed up the cash flow and we couldn’t afford to offer him a decent contract (but we could fund Wilder’s pointless January vanity signings).

Developing and selling the likes of Brooks and Seriki for big money is more important than our league position really now. We should not be sanctioning massive wages for the likes of Chaudry until Seriki has been tied down and given the wages he wants.

Can already see the way this is going but it’s infuriating we are so so stupidly run.
