........................NOTW reports that should the Blades be relegated, John Pemberton is in line to replace Micky Adams!

Pembo is doing a great job with the kids don't spoil it.
He has no experience managing seasoned players it would be a huge jump for him.

And in other news....

Journalists read forums too.

Worse still, they get paid for doing it. Lazy bastards.

Stand by for "Blades plan to build around youth success" stories after the Youth Cup final. No quotes and no evidence. Written from the pub.

Look at Paul hart ,great with kids useless as a manager ,could be a dangerous move which would spoil a promising career.

Got to agree. I hope the management have the balls to ask Pembo who he wants to work with. If its Adams then so be it but if its not Adams then have the balls if asked Pembo to say so.

Great chance to restructure the club and change the football philosophy.

I stopped reading after "NOTW"

MA seems very skeptical about still being at the club next season in recent interviews. He is always saying "I hope to be the man to bring us back" etc. After just watching him on FL show and listening on BBC website, it doesn't sound like he knows what's going on.

Adams must be a given a chance next season its not all his fault.

I should bloody hope so. I don't want MA anywhere near our Club if we're relegated.
But if he keeps us up then it's ok. Is that what you're saying? Last thing we want is yet another Manager. Are you hoping to get a chance yourself? If you hang on long enough we'll get to you eventually.

I think it would be a bad move to promote Pemberton. In time he'd be sacked if he failed or poached if he succeded.

He's doing a great job with the academy and ultimately this has to pay dividends for the first team squad. Without major financial investment, which is unlikely, we must place the emphasis on developing talent from within.

And so he shouldn't.

I would hope that the club management take a long hard look at what we do next irrelevant of which league we are in.
Also I hope that the decision is made earlier rather than later to allow rebuilding to start as soon as possible.
