American in Greece

Was holidaying in Greece last week and went on an excursion with a bunch of different people from across Thessaloniki.

One of whom was a young American — who to my delight knew of Sheffield United when I told him where I was from and when I asked him if he had heard of Wednesday, he said "Who?".

Greece is nucking futs for mental fans though. Him and his dad were dragged out of their car and all but beaten up when he was 14 by a bunch of PAOK fans.

Met a US family on holiday and became good friends, start of holiday called football soccer, only ever heard of Beckham, end of holiday were wearing my Blades shirts and saying fuck the pigs, even want to come over to see us play the filth. Dem yanks.
