I have always said that on his day he is the best finisher at the club, certainly in terms of shots from say 12 -18 yards out. Anything below that distance and Billy reigns supreme of course.

Billy Sharp............incredible, even when the keeper or defender get a block on his initial strike, he seems to have the knack of being in the right place to collect it and slot it home on the second attempt.

I will be genuinely gutted on the day he finally hangs up his boots.

I remember at TC's testimonial at the lane, when Woody came off to a standing ovation, there were grown men stood near me with tears in their eyes, saying one last farewell to the great man.

I would wager we will see the same thing when Billy Sharp has his final game for us.
