I can't believe you have said all that & finished by saying we should get rid! We would be crazy to not try & get the best out of him, & Slav could be the man to do it. I accept he is running out of chances but a fit & firing Moose is one hell of a player.
yeah definetly last chance saloon for mousset but what a player he could be for us in the championship if we can get him lean and fit again would surely get 20 plus at this level

i just think he’s a muppet destined to waste his talent regardless of who’s coaching him.

Indeed - and if we're paying him 10/15K per week, some players just get away with it.

The pigs have had a bucket load and earning much more and giving very little back in return - Forest Fairy as the prime example.

Can't see anything in the makeup of Lys Mousett that says he'll be any different anywhere he goes. Not blaming Eddie Howe, but he must have thought it was pennies from heaven when we came in for him.

If Slav is the manager we've heard about, Mousett won't even get on the bench unless he changes his attitude to being a pro footballer.

Prefer to keep Lys,he will be lethal in the Championship.
D’you reckon?

A couple of things:

In order to be lethal, a player has to remain fit. No good to fker if he’s constantly on the treatment table.

in order to be lethal, a player has to stop feeling sorry for themselves. They have to apply themselves, be professional and do the job they’ve been employed to do

I’m just not sure Moose fits the above criteria

I’d like him to prove me wrong, but I’ve already been waiting quite a while and so I’ve now given up on him

I gave up on most of the players last season, but they will be getting another chance from me this coming season.

Dont doubt the ability that Lys has,he scored goals in his first season that others in the squad could only dream of scoring,Joka will i hope get him back to that level.

We could achieve that with Coulibally and to a lesser extent Berge

True we could but we would be making a profit on two players on their ability for another club in Coulibally's case and reputation in Berge's, not players that we have paid a fee for who have set the world alight for SUFC and have gone onto bigger and better things.....I genuinely can't remember the last one...

Coulibally is our player he may not have played for us yet
Does it actually matter if he has played for us if we make a huge profit on him even though I would like to see him at BDTBL
The club spotted potential same as Berge whose career at SUFC has been unforunately hampered by injury

No it doesn't matter but that wasn't the point I was making. Loads of similar sized teams to us buy players who play well for them and then leave for bigger clubs....not us.

I agree CBB he has ability, but if he ain’t on the pitch due to all the reasons we’ve seen this last season, then he’s no good to anyone

dunno bob depends how many we decide to sell and what money we get for em think it will mostly be loans anyway
I can’t see us breaking £6M for anyone, if we sell it’s to balance the books, once that’s done we’ll want to keep the squad together.

The off pitch part of his life has defo got to change,he has to get his mind/prioritys sorted,he wont be driving a car for a while,so cycling to work could be a benefit.

First person to say Mousset is on his bike, wins a faux wagon wheel.

About right in what you say FB, I think an overall 10m ceiling with regards to fees, wages, add ons etc is the best we can hope for. The days of 20m+ seem a long time ago right now.
Mind you, I think HRH has the balls to go for it in Jan if we're in with a shout

we might have to bob for a start we need at least 2 quality midfielders to come in think this is the area where any major money will be spent we cant just go with norwood fleck slater and freeman

Maybe, but we'll use loans rather than expensive outlays on perms.

Lys has ability and pace.
In the past 18 months he's had injury, fitness, bereavement and his car crash issues to boot. Always seems a nice enough lad but has made some bad choices.

Get him fit and mostly injury free and he can more than do a job.

Back to Mitrovic, not sure we actually need him too. In McBurnie, Sharp, Brewster, McGoldrick (Unless he's playing no.10) Jebbison and Moussett we have enough strikers and quality for the Championship.

I think the "pro-Moose" camp are probably hoping for it to come good rather than expecting it. I am definitely of the opinion that Moose, the one we saw tear Manchester United a new arsehole, would be unstoppable in the Championship. But it's such a big if. Question marks over attitude, fitness, brain cells. I think he's at last chance saloon but I hope he can be back fit and firing in August. A fully fit and raring to go Moose in an attacking team in the Championship excites me. October is the time to give up on him. Give it one last chance.
