He is a cock up waiting to happen every game he plays, rivals Mceverly as our worst current player, feel a little sorry for the Donny fans TBH...

.....but only a little.

Harry, do not be despondent. somewhere in this glorious county there exists a club immune to the qualities a player like Alcock can contribute. Let him impress, let him show that deep, deep down there's something worth a contract. We have to find ways to off-load and this is just a beginning, but somewhere there exists a god of pity. a god whose earholes have finally responded to our cries for mercy. Donnie, you have our sympathies.

Another manager signing his old boys eh good old Fergie Jnr.

...................................... just need Clough to find a new job ;)

the best thing to happen to us would be him getting a job and taking all the fucking shit he added to the other shit with him particularly them wastes of space cuvilier and his treatment table buddy J wallace.

that's not to say I wouldnt be opposed to him moving on to free the wages, as he is 3rd choice RB behind Freeman/Brayford. but there are far more players higher up the "get rid" list on ability than Alcock for me.

The quickest way for us to shift a few on would be for Clough to get a League 1 job and him to take them. I think he'd be a decent fit for the Barnsley job, though they seem to be admirably trying a unique and alien concept of sticking with the manager they rate highly through a very dismal run. In the event that Clough does get another job you could feasibly see him take McEveley, Alcock, Higgo, and perhaps one from the middle of midfield – they'd all be reasonable signings for teams fighting to stay in this league.

Gary Bowyer has just been sacked, maybe Clough could steady Blackburn:)

Steady on. Give him a Championship job and he might try and snatch the more successful members of the squad. For safety's sake, give him Barnsley. Or Burton when JFH is eventually snapped up.

Totally agree, my post was most certainly tongue in cheek.

Problem is the more games he plays for Donny the more chance he has of making a couple of monumental cock ups meaning they won't want to keep him.
There's a downside to everything.

I think we could safely add a few to that list of names ...... perhaps we could do buy-one-get-one-free since we're usually known throughout the land for selling players cheaply

UTB & FTP

Probably our best defender in his first 3-4 games, but after that it never seemed to work out for him. We seem to be stockpiling full-backs who can fill in at centre-back so a move benefits him and us. Would keep him rather than McEveley though....

Not done a great deal wrong for me but was always under pressure being Beard's replacement initially. Good luck to him.

He's certainly no where near the worst RB we've ever had, good luck to the bloke. A tryer who will always be behind the beard.

One out of the door pretty much.

A few more to go.

I liked him, but there is and should be enough in front of him. Freeman would be my next defender our and maybe Harris

Coulda been worse, coulda been better. One off the wage bill.

I wonder what the fee was?

I think they should tell us instead of being Alcock and no mouth.

Good luck to him. Amongst all of the rubbish in our squad he was one I actually quite liked. Would always be a fringe player and especially so with Brayford about but the lad always but a shift in and was fairly steady. If I could knock up a list of players to get shut of there would have been quite a few before him.

He'll do a decent job for them. Not good enough on a consistent basis for us but he's a player who at least gives his all. Good luck to him.
