Good luck to him, joined Donny on 28 day emergency loan. The start of getting rid of the deadwood.

Maybe that's why we've loaned Cobain.

It gives Alcock a chance to put himself in the shop window.

Looked a half decent player when he first came in. Shows what I know

He really impressed me in his couple of games this season. I was shocked infact.

But he hasn't got much hope of getting ahead of Freeman, although it's worth keeping him while Brayford is back.

I thought the same, he was also recipient of MOM several times last season during our purple patch when he played in his preferred right back slot.

that's not to say I wouldnt be opposed to him moving on to free the wages, as he is 3rd choice RB behind Freeman/Brayford. but there are far more players higher up the "get rid" list on ability than Alcock for me.

its funny how people dislike Alcock... last season during our purple patch (start of season after the first 2 games) he was the ever present at right back, attaining several MOM, he then got injured and we started conceding... he was then brought back and thrown into central defence... rather than right back.
Not sure people "dislike" Alcock
I think he has performed well and has put the effort in every time he has played.
The problem is that Alcock is a player of limited ability and is symptomatic of the quantity rather than quality of this over sized squad of ours - he was brought in as a bit of a panic as The Beard was not available and the Freeman deal fell through as the lad Mason was not part of a loan package from Derby.
It was allus going to end this way with him - he's a good pro but not of the calibre we need to get out of this division and sustain a challenge in the division above.
Good luck to him - hope he does well and secures a move that will get him regular football - he deserves that.

well thats 2 Adkins has moved nearer the door
shows hes aware of the situation, and sorting the chaff from the wheat

we only need yeast so we can rise

Good luck to the lad. I don't rate him but he's one who actually tries.

I'm guessing Flynn will be cover for Freeman until Brayford is back.

I'll be diplomatic and say that it hasn't worked out for him. Good luck at Donny!

He is a cock up waiting to happen every game he plays, rivals Mceverly as our worst current player, feel a little sorry for the Donny fans TBH...

.....but only a little.

Problem is the more games he plays for Donny the more chance he has of making a couple of monumental cock ups meaning they won't want to keep him.

If they're high on a get rid list then they're probably low on an I'll have list.
