Nice post Silent. remember seeing Albert Cox back in the day, always well turned out, Brylcreemed hair, He and Fred Furness were our full backs for a few years almost without interruption. The Defence line-up rolled off our tongues when we were kids,:- Smith, Furness Cox, Jackson Latham Forbes.- The Forward line was always a bit more prone to change though with Hagan, Brook , Collindridge. stalwarts and backed up by Hawksworh, Jones, and later Ringstead. Great memories though.!

Albert Cox used to have a shop near my house when I was young, my dad used to tell me stories about him, thing I remember is when he came up against a tricky winger he used to put him in row z first chance he got
