I'll take the taser. Just for fun like....

But really, DW makes sense. The right style of play plus experience of the division. The fact he's ex-Wendy doesn't bother me at all.

paul ince-fucketh me!wtf has that bloke achieved in his long and noticeable managerial career!

i've nothing against danny wilson in particular.. he was never anti united like sheridan and pearson, but the guy will have no chance and will kill any momentum that the club has.. as soon as we let the first goal in.. nay in fact as soon as we misplace one pass the crowd will turn on him and we will have the same feeling of doom return immediately.. i've seen people on here attempt to contrast wilson with porterfield.. porterfield had just stormed the league with an attractive rotherham side plus he was a low profile player for the pigs, basically winding down his illustrious career.. they are completely different.. wilson's palmares reads thus.. barnsley promoted ten years ago.. nowt.. nowt .. nowt

I know it's not going to happen, but I wouldn't be too disappointed with Grant. Seriously.

10 years on could he be our man? He’s got the experience of playing young players and like Blessen has the reputation as an innovative coach.

I'm guessing you're on the wind up, nobody in 2021 would be stupid enough to seriously consider Aidy Boothroyd.

Innovative? The man dubbed "Hoofroyd" by Watford fans?

Whilst I’m not seriously advocating AB, he is reputed in football circles to be someone who is innovative in terms of his coaching sessions and training. His tactical style does leave a lot to be desired.

When you say "footballing circles" do you mean Aidy Boothroyd and his Agent?

He’s had some of the best young English players at his disposal and has spectacularly failed at every opportunity. He’s played god awful football and made them terrible to watch.
If anyone seriously considered him because he’s good at putting cones out I would truly despair.

Interesting as this thread is 10 years old, to think what might have happened if he had been given the job.

Actually on second thoughts being a Blade is depressing enough at the moment.

TU SALAUD!

You got me there. I almost had heart failure eating my cornflakes with those names. Didn’t notice the dates on the thread.

Danny Wilson
Steve McLaren
Boothroyd
Haha
