Baldock's constant absence has harmed us greatly when it comes to dealing with opponents 1 on 1. Nobody else has the stopping power, acceleration or defensive brain

Sadly a huge miss and it seems he's now on his way to Greece. I believe he only played in one hammering this season Burnley away but his injuries caught up with him. The only right back at the club that knows how to defend. Kept Mbappe in his pocket last year and Grealish quiet for 89 minutes at the Lane this season. We do not have an adequate replacement at the club at the moment. We desperately need players in who know how to defend, track runners, positional sense and have sufficient pace to cope with the occasional speed merchant we will face in the Championship.

Holgate is better than Anel. But both won’t be here next season.

He does lack ability, he can’t fuckin defend, read the play and ball watches.

There were plenty of examples last season but luckily we were so dominant and often had proper defenders getting him out of the shit.

We were blinded by his goals and driving with the ball

Got away with it in the championship as he could recover his errors (like a shitter version of John Terry) and seemed interested.

This season he’s been found out massively and although he’s not had Egan to support him, he’s been terrible

Not sure why Holgate didn’t play yesterday as he’s the most solid of the two.
