Savour this Humpty Barney, I agree.

The only AGM I ever attended was in 1999, as I recall, the full board was there and Warnock had been appointed and he was there to answer questions. Iwas hopeful lenners was going to turn up and shoot hem done in flames, but sadly he didn't.

I think it's hugely disrespectful for Jim Phipps not to have been there, and Nigel Adkins too. It's not as if it was sprung on them overnight, the date is announced weeks in advance. If Jim was in Saudi on a Friday/Saturday, he wouldn't be getting much business done, it's the weekend, so he could either have flown back overnight Thursday, or flown out to Saudi Friday/Saturday. There's absolutely no excuse for not setting aside one day per year for the AGM, nobody's that busy.

Genuine question to which I am not sure of the answer, but how many days a year is Jim allowed into the UK?

The AGM was for Sheffield United Ltd. HRH and Jim have nothing to do with that company. The Blades Leisure info was given because SU Ltd owns 50% of the shares.

Don't think it would have done any harm for Adkins to show his face though.

Strange thing to say if that's how it was said.

Not really strange - once KMc has flogged all the players he can what's left is Adkin's best team - simple.

Less than 6 months if he wants to avoid UK tax.

OK, fair enough, it did feel very strange agreeing with Humpty Barney, now I can relax and realise it was a blip :-)

Yes, if he wants to be a UK taxpayer, but I suspect the thrust of the question concerned UK days without being liable for UK income tax.

A mate of mine who's a UK citizen and lives mainly in South Africa was a bit annoyed when HMRC changed the rules to count the day of arrival and departure as part of his permissible 91 (I think) days, where previously, they were excluded.

Yep apologies, an unfunny albeit accurate comment. :(

He has other business interests and as I said, nothing to do with SU Ltd.

He's too busy to be playing around with something as trivial as a football club he co-chairs.

As explained Barney, the Prince and his entourage have nothing to do with Sheffield United Limited, whose AGM it was, which is why they weren't there.

Do try and keep up eh?

Less than 6 months. This is why the military get 2 weeks R&R when on 6 month tours... the government still want their taxes.

Id much rather him focus on the football than the numbers TBH.

It was an important AGM to do with the club, he co-chairs the club, and so should have been there. That tells me all I need to know, regardless of the fact the Prince has only invested in Blades Leisure Ltd. Blades Leisure Ltd still partly owns SU Ltd anyway - so you're obviously wrong in saying it has nothing to do with him. Same old Sean.

Blades Leisure Ltd does not own Sheffield United Ltd. It owns Sheffield United Football Club Ltd. You clearly know nothing about the set up as you've proved in your own words yet again.

A quick look at Companies House will show you who the directors of SU Ltd are and I can assure you neither HRH, Jim nor any of their team appear on the documents lodged there. Jim is no co-chair to the company who's AGM it was.

So obviously one of us is wrong, and as usual its you.

You really are a moron.

We have another internet warrior. You bash that keyboard Sir.

I don't know the precise details of who owns what but I don't suppose a huge amount of supporters will. I don't continually profess I know more about that kind of thing than I do either. I really don't think that makes me a moron, it rather makes you look an overly aggressive old tool.

If you don't have the precise details - in actual fact no fucking idea would be more accurate - why tell people who do they are wrong?

You pretend you are knowledgable about lots if things but get caught out telling porkies a lot.

There's nothing remotely warrior like or aggressive in saying your a moron. It's a considered opinion based on your moronic posts like the one above claiming to know what's what, when the reality you're some dopey attention seeking kid with a big opinion of himself.

And what a big kid I must be. You make me laugh. And if we're predicting one anothers circumstances, I'd say you were some scrawny, middle aged man giving it the large over a mistake about the intricacies of the club's businesses. Each to their own.

Big Kid Barney admits he's wrong shocker. :)

"Giving it the large"

Is that what the kids who never leave their Mums back bedroom say these days?

You think I'm a big kid and a moron, I think you're old and scrawny. Fair game. :) Now jog on. :D

Jog on! Ooooh. :adkins:

If you didn't know, why tell me I'm wrong BKB?

Simple question, even for a moron.

Sean the Scrawn rings well. Made me chuckle that.

If your wit and intelligence matched your ego we'd have a regular Stephen Hawking on our hands.

As it is we've got Andy from Little Britain.

You can't expect some Rotherham fan to know the inner workings of our club. I don't know why you bother responding to him.
