can we hold the Tea and Biscuits demo until after Easter? I have given up biscuits for Lent.
David Bowie and Orlando Bloom are
Blades??????????
No, not having that. Fine dunkers.
Don't taste very nice though!
I do think a civilised tea and cakes protest could be fairly amusing... especially if everyone committed to the cause and dressed in circa 1925 clothing (the last time we bloody won owt worth winning.)
We could all stand about in the car park with our thoroughly stiff-upper lips (none of this shouting and bawling malarky so favoured by the young hoodlums) drinking Earl Grey from the finest bone china and discussing how things aren't "jolly good".
It's then not an angry protest against individuals, but a lighthearted protest by people fed up of mediocrity from all levels of the club and showing that in the last 100 or so years, there hasn't been a great deal of change on the pitch.
The press would lap it up.
And frankly, there aren't enough battenburgs at the Lane.
That would depend, what biscuits are you having with your tea?
EDIT Damn you JonnyD, damn you straight to hell.

ManU's green and yellow scarf protest has got plenty of press without things turning nasty. As long as the club are aware of something that may happen and then see the amount of support for it, it doesn't have to be shoes off and offensive.
I remember there was talk about everyone turning up at 3.15 for example or turning their backs for the 1st 10 mins in the past. Radio Sheffield would lap something like that up and make sure the club knew what was going on.
But in my view it isn't a protest unless you actually do something to affect the club.
Well Linz, as much as I would love to have a pre game protest I am afraid I shall have to decline as instead I shall be here...

The green and yellow protest got the press because it was Man U.
The green and yellow protest doesn't affect the club at Man U. Like I said before its a non protest and doesn't hurt the club at all.
Glaser and his boys are reminded everytime that they green and yellow scarves are twirled that they are still taking cash off the protesters!
I keep saying, if people want to protest, then have some balls, don't go through the turnstiles and instead stand in the car park with or without shoes and hit the club in the pocket.
Perhaps boycott the pies, club shop, the bar.
But in my view it isn't a protest unless you actually do something to affect the club.
