After a loss we’ve invariably bounced back with a result in recent times. I’m not saying we’ll go and win at Liverpool but I think the team will be extremely fired up and wanting to right a wrong from the previous game. Really hoping it translates to a solid performance on the pitch. A Wilder team won’t be feeling sorry for themselves.

Cannot argue with that, we do seem to bounce back after a defeat under wilder and Knill, pity it's fuckin Liverpool away have to give it to WHU then

The important thing is to come out of the game feeling we've given a good account of ourselves. I'm sure the lads are hurting with the manner of decisions last night but they need to know how good a performance it was against that level of opposition. Fleck was superb and Basham still managed a run where he waltzed past two or three City players.

We were playing one of the best teams there is, one that considers 3rd place a capitulation. Give us that level of performance and know that it would beat 80% of teams in the world. No exaggeration. And no shame or worry if one of the ones in that 20% beats you.

We've got an insanely tough run of games (one out of the way now) and the only concern is coming through it with the mental strength to carry on playing as we have in the first twenty games. I've got no worries about our ability on the pitch, especially after last night.

A good performance, like yesterday, sets us up well for the run in.

The result, combined with any VAR nonsense far less important in this game.

Its a genuine free hit, irrespective of what the gaffer might say 😀.

losing games I can take but being shafted again and again is more difficult to deal with.
That goal that moose scored at the etihad should be something he tells his grandkids about.
Sorry for the negatives when your op was a positive one but it’s got right under my skin.
Ok deep breath......reset. UTB.

Should have been some thing that we all could of all told our children, grand children or great grandchildren. “That night we beat city at the Eithad” If moose goal was allowed the game was ours!

UTB on to Thursday

my worry is we should have got something at Man City, but as most expected lost. Its likely we will lose at Anfield, for obvious reasons, so its imperative our lads keep their chins up and do not let their confidence take a hit which ultimately then becomes a virus in a teamif confidence and negativity take hold and can lead to us slipping up in other games. Its a real bugger these massive 2 games are back to back as otherwise i would be fully confidence the lads would bounce back as they have done time and again.

at least after Anfield they have a week to recover as no doubt it will be the 2nd string for the FAC game.

Liverpool will probably be a carbon copy of last night.

If we'd been outclassed last night I'd have got over it by now. It's just the feeling that somehow we've been shafted by the premiership powers-that-be. To paraphrase Chris Wilder, if that "assist" by the ref had been in our favour there would have been a huge outcry.
Very proud of the lads though.

We will get shafted at Anfield by VAR regardless of how we perform. Just like Wolves did.
Liverpool got to be due a defeat, would you not be surprised if it’s this Thursday . CWAK are the men to give it them . Come on the Blades let’s shove it upem VAR or not , we can do it . Garth Crookes are you watching .

Keep playing as we are and improving and developing as we have done over last 3 years and I’ll be one very happy Blade. It’s all about the long game. In Sir Chris we trust ;)

If we score it will have to be the most squeaky clean perfect goal you've ever seen to get past the scouse loving stockley park.

I’m afraid that Laughing Stockley Park won’t let us win at Anfield...☹️
