Sure it was port vale and we lost 3-0 I think and attendance was about 8k,bad times.

Depends if you were young in 1988 or 1999 . Billy McEwan was sacked immediately after a night match ended in a 0-5 defeat to Oldham on 2/1/88 . The atmosphere that night was toxic , in front of a crowd of just over 9,500 . Can't remember the circumstances of Heath leaving .
