Adkins...........Eeeeeeeeeeeerm.... mainly shite if I'm being honest. We should bin 90% of the lazy wasters and start building a squad able to win this league.

The horrified club have ensured Phipps was effectively gagged after that accidental display of honesty.

We were never contenders last season and only finished 5th because the league was so shit that the teams in 6th to 14th spot were even more gash than we were.

There was never any way on earth that we were going to even get to the play-off finals let alone win it !!

We played most of the season without a meaningful defence, without strikers and with a midfield packed with anorexic midgets ( plus Baxter ).

In short ...... a fu**ing car crash.

Massive ( sorry ) clear-out and rebuild needed and STILL needed before we make any meaningful progress towards escaping from our self-imposed exile in this agricultural division.

Wouldn't matter if it was. The way we played in the cups won't get you promoted. We sat back, defended with everyone behind the ball and hit on the break. Which is all we were good at. Whenever a L1 side came to BL and did the same to us we lacked the wherewithal to open them up. We drew far too many games.

And we out worked the PL sides because, in the main, they were spineless and demotivated lazy twats. Look at how they've turned out since; Villa, Fulham, QPR plus Charlton and Forest. All shite. Even Southampton were having a wobble when we beat them. It was great fun but fairly meaningless when it comes to the league.

The same players who could compete with Championship and Premiership Clubs ....... but couldn't compete in this agricultural division !!
