Give him time.

It's the players and board that need the sack, we have wasted fortunes sacking managers.

A board that are too gutless to back a manager just so they can save a few quid.

Players who know there is no new deal on the table for them as they carry on playing like shite.

Not so sure now bladesman, few weeks ago would have agreed, but there's nothing there, that, in part, as got to be down to management. Apathy now turning to anger.

That's what worries me, they sacked Clough because of his questionable signings, I am afraid Adkins have been worse.

How do you motivate players who you don't like and don't want to keep? While being told you can replace them but actually you can't replace them because the board won't pay them off and fund a replacement.

He has done well to get a few out on loan but all of a waste of time since he wasn't allowed to bring anyone else in during January.

Angry at a fucking shit result, but sacking is a terrible idea.

Madness is doing the same thing over and over only to expect different results. Sacking means a new manager, new style, new ethos, more money spent on compensation which means less going on the first team.

Are there questions over Adkins? Of course, but we got this guy in because his track record is exemplary. We shouldn't have said we were going for promotion this year because the money wasn't there to improve and with this lot here it's simply not going to happen (unless we see some fucking wizardry in the loan market). This has led to unprecedented levels of frustration amongst us lot and I bet, despite his cheery exterior, Nige is feeling it too.

Write this season off and see where we are 12 months from now. Sacking him is simply not an option and I want to see how he goes about putting together HIS squad.

Fucking pub crawl/party on the day most of these tarts are kicked out of our club.
 
Went for the bottom option, but realistically this was a minimum three year job for the new manager. Adkins has signed four players, two permanently. Don't expect any honesty from the board, or a manager with a comparable CV to replace this manager - if we shuffle the deck chairs again. If you were one of the dead men would you give 100%? If so, would 100% bee good enough anyway.
 
We need chase all these wankers out of our club. Whether they wear a suit or club colours.
 
I'm getting more and more concerned about his ability to turn this around. I still have faith, just, but if we sign Dean Hammond on a permanent deal in summer that faith will totally evaporate and I'll feel as though we are no further on at all.

How can you spend less than 0?
 
I wouldn't sack him now, but if we continue to see spineless performance after spineless performance between now and the end of the season, I'd be tempted to let him go in the summer.
 
I voted sack him now in desperate hope that it may prevent us signing Hammond permanently and could also reduce his game time for the rest of this season.
 
If he does stay for next season, someone has got to tell him his recruits, BS, the exception, are not good enough.
We don't want Hammond, Woolford, or Sammon, anywhere near this club.

Not sure which to choose. We can't keep sacking managers but he is full of contradictions and I am losing faith in him fast . His signings on the whole have been poor and his tactics sometimes leave me scratching my head . I guess it comes down to what his plans are for next season . If his plan is to build a team round Hammond then for me he can go because Doyle was far cheaper and a better player and I didn't particularly like Doyle
 



i thought Adkins was a great coup for the club. but then he made mceveley captain ?? and signed Hammond who is sh**e yet plays him every week.. then we get hammered at Gillingham and i thought 'err. hold on a minute'..
however.. it's the board that is behind this..they get 20k a match on lower overheads. why should they care?..
so in summation you have missed an option ie 'Adkins resigns in disgust'
