Adidas Training Wear......

£36 for a training top? Is any idiot actually going to buy that? They're over priced when they go down to about fifteen quid half way through the season.

Is it just me that finds football club branded merchandise extremely tacky and thinks it should be reserved for children only?

No, not just you. Training gear is mostly extremely tacky. I would like a casual polo though. IE, a nice smart polo shirt with the Adidas badge and the Blades badge on it.

Wednesday's new shirt is almost as top quality as my stitching skills ;)
That can't be right, the Sodico badge is the right way round!!!

I notice that the Pigs new shirt isn't on the Sondico website: is it because even they are embarrassed by it?

Saw this and chuckled, they are still making out it's a classic shirt destined for the hall of pig fame.

Does anybody know if its possible to buy the old one embroided?

It may be a long shot, but try TOFFS.

The reason being that the Blades shirts they offer all have the old badge (not the current one) and when I called into the factory a few years ago to buy an old shirt, they didn't have ours in stock but took a Sunderland shirt (same red and white stripes!) removed the badge and replaced it with a Sheffield United badge while I waited!
So they may be able to supply just the badge.

That's interesting. Thanks for the advice.

why bother. the printed badge wont come off, ive had loads of adidas with stuff printed on,all still intact.if you were unlucky and it did come off then just take it back and swap it.club shop said it wont be a problem

Just realized that there's an Adidas outlet store at Dalton Park which is only about 20miles down the A19 from me!

Might just have to buy a couple of those badges ;)
Visited Dalton Park yesterday and was very unimpressed with the Adidas store!

just had a look at the website and I'm a little confused, all the training wear is either red white & black (understandable) or white with dark green and gold trim. If our away kit is going to be yellow & black then where have they got green and gold from?

Does seem a bit odd doesn't it?

Unless we have a third shirt in that colour scheme? That still wouldn't make much sense though.

I still can't believe they've had "WAWAW" actually stitched into the shirts. I mean they ACTUALLY have WAWAW stitched into the shirts. Fucking hell.

Surprised they did not get Massive stiched in to the neck of the home shirt.

I thought the away shirt was Dark Green? That was the rumour anyway. That was rumoured well before we saw the training wear too.
