Warnock built a team with him as a focal point and issued fines to players that would pass to him when Taraabt was in his own half. He was not a team player, and is probably about as far away as it can be from a Wilder player.
It's up to the manager to make him one of their players, its what they are paid for. In doing this, Warnock even went to the extent of making Taarabt stay in his house for 6 months and got Sharon to "mother" him. People question Warnock's unorthodox way of doing things but still haven't a clue how he fires players up and gets successive teams out of this division. Taraabt has the quality we are crying out for but the reaction on here is predictable if nothing else.
