If we'd dropped £8-12m on Tanganga & loaned Armstrong, we'd have been so well set for the remainder of the season.

Something like this would have been far preferable. Not even necessarily Tanganga. We could have been stronger at CB, stronger up front, and saved a few million at the same time

With Armstrong in particular though it was probably unclear he'd be leaving on loan until very late so not something we could reliably plan for

I imagine they are keen. But then I'm keen on a threesome with the wife and Mila Kunis, but neither of these scenarios are likely to happen.

(If AA does move on loan, then I'll be having a word with Mrs Houso later...)
