What are the rules now on speaking to players under contract and not on the transfer list?

His honorary title of Blade has also now been dissolved after his golfing escapades and his refusal to play for us whilst under contract at the time. Hes a gooner now and they are welcome to him. He can live the rest of his life ordering Savaloys instead of chip butties and fishcakes, and wonder where it all went wrong for him. More chips and fishcakes for the rest of us then. His loss.

Other than deliberately setting out to injure somebody, refusing to play for a club you are contracted to is ethically the most repugnant thing I can think of that a footballer could do, a mark of low character, and I can never respect anyone who would choose to do it.
