I didn't know him but stumbled upon this on twitter.
Sad news and so young.
Not sure if either post on here.

Hi everyone, I'm the brother of Tom and I just wanted to say thank you to you all for your support and kindness. He was a brilliant lad and was always looking out for others and it saddens me to lose him, but seeing the support from other blades has really warmed my heart.
Tom was always on the forum. A lifelong blade. The club have been outstanding. I've been in touch with John Garrett, he and the club couldn't have done anymore for me or my brother. His family are overwhelmed by the support on Twitter and the forum. UTBSad news.
No idea if he posted on here or was known by any on here, but it's highly likely. If so my condolences to all his family and friends.
Well said mate.Horrible, horrible news to hear. Life can be cruel sometimes.
I'd known of him for years and one of my mates worked with him. Seemed like a great lad, a proper Blade and nobody had a bad word to say about him. RIP Tom.
The club have some words that I have sent them Joe. His pea head will be up on the big screen at half time.I think we're arranging for an announcement of some sort to be made at halftime at tomorrow's game as well.
It was Tom on Gosforth Fields, yeah. He was playing a work game of six a side and just collapsed. The response by his work mates and emergency services couldn't have been better.Assuming this is the young man that was on Gosforth Fields.
An absolute tragedy. My thoughts with family and friends.
RIP.
