I'm very close to calling bullshit on this, it's a highly implausible tale.

1, Kid was early teens.
2, we discussed his Dad wanted one and he said "what?". So I got him one as well.
3, no idea. They had driven up from Reading (iirc).

As it turned out he didn't need to be there in person, so I borrowed him to get another ticket for my mate.

It would be a very specific tale to make up.

Can anyone tell me what's so great about Pizza. I've had them under sufferance, I've had them in Italy,grand kids love them but for the life of me I cannot see the secret of why they are so popular. It was taken over from Kath several years ago by the owners of the Admiral chippy on Crookes, initially with a fryer from Rotherham who's name escapes me, though he was good.

Slow sales resulted in it only opening on match days.

Sad....
