I hope the fans are patient with him next season if we are still in The Championship, it will be year one of the rebuild, and a solid mid table finish next season would be more than acceptable…

…but you know some are going to expect a promotion challenge and will be calling for his head if we are not near the play offs come December.

Why would we not be pushing for promotion if we are in the Championship next year.
The squad is good enough if four or five are added over the summer.

His massive failure's at Leeds, then Hibernian, plus he is not a naturally charismatic character does not help his cause.

He had 16 games as manager of a faltering Leeds team, sandwiched in between the already closed January window and the summer window. Not sure what he was supposed to do with that and I fail to see how anyone can be a massive failure in just 16 games.

At Hibs he for manager of the month eart on and won the Edinburgh derby, finishing a creditsable 5th. Despite a difficult start to the next season plagued by injuries, he still won more than he lost.

He comes over as a reasonable, considered, intelligent, well grounded guy. Not sure what you are looking for. Barry Fry is charismatic but I wouldn’t be looking to appoint him!

I think you’re being far too harsh. He’s done a very good job to turn around our situation, especially when you consider the adversity he’s been confronted with in the shape of injuries and COVID opportunism from others.
