Tonight was the first time this season I actually enjoyed watching us play overall; the old Blades were shown in flashes and should have been up more in the first half.

Yes obviously no points gained,but if we play like this from here on out and start converting some of these chances we will be absolutely fine.

I know a lot of people will be like who gives a shit still fucking lost again but I am choosing to look on the brighter side of our performance.We finally started to look more like ourselves.

Ampadu was awesome and I will admit, surprised at how well Osborn did also.
Yes also Brewster looked lost at times but take into account what emotions he was dealing with.

Osborn MOM for me. I think we were being overrun for the first 20 minutes of the second half, but we came back well in the last 25. We just need that confidence booster of a win. Stand firm everybody.

My only criticism, and maybe harshly, would be the defending for their goals. The first saw Bash lose his man and Ramsdale could have pushed it wide. The second was too easy from the cross and header.

Nonetheless you're up against exceptional forwards.

I'm still concerned about how many goals we have in us though.

Three or four times tonight we couldn't even hit the target from chances, even if not clean cut.

All in all though much better than I expected and Iike you I enjoyed it more than so far this season.

We have lost around 4 or 5 inches in height with o connell being injured, teams seen to be targeting this area as in the Leeds goal

Played well and so disappointing that we gave away two soft goals with free headers. I doubt either would have happened had JOC been playing. Not bringing in a decent, good in the air replacement could cost us dearly this season.

Completely agree, especially first half was a joy to watch. Berge is class. Going all the way to the top. Unfortunately for us I don’t think we’ll ever see him live in a Blades shirt which is depressing as fuck.

Just listened to Wilders interview and he points out that we are playing no worse than last season, yet then we managed to get the points with what he describes as smash and grab raids at places like Bournemouth where we scored in the last minute and Everton where we nicked a win.
Towards the end of last season we played terrible and had an equally terrible points return, playing better now and confident that the tide will turn.
