Sad news,RIP Boo and also Jehovah...i've just lost my wife last month so can certainly empathise with those who knew them both.

Dnblade I am so so sorry to hear this. I know that pain, I also know there are no words, God knows I wish there were. But if you need anything, even if it is to rant at the unfairness of it all, I'm here, as I know the rest of the board is too.

I'm afraid I don't pray, but you will be in my thoughts.

Only just seen this and I have to say I'm a bit stunned.

We had a few differences of opinion over odd things, but I always considered him to be one of the 'good guys'.

RIP Boo and all the best to Mrs Boo and the family left behind.

What shit news.

Had the pleasure of meeting up with Boo last year at Tramlines for a little natter, plus many conversations on here of course. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

This is a message from Mrs Boo and Boo juniors. We're sorry to announce that sadly boo passed away this morning at 8am. Boo suffered a heart attack, which beat the best efforts of some of Yorkshire's finest paramedics. We're hurting and we're sure many of you will too. This forum has been a big part of his life, and we know he considers many of you good friends. This was Boo's social media. No twitter. Never on facebook. But the S24su forum! Always a thread to show us and its brought a lot of joy and laughter, so thank you! A little comfort is that he got to see us reach the premier league, but at the same time heart broken we won't get to share the experience with him. Its been a beautiful few weeks full of special memories. We'll keep you updated should anyone wish to say goodbye in the coming weeks. Much love and UTB
What sad news, sincere condolences from a Brussels-based Blade

Gutted!

Sure the blades will do him proud next season

RIP - UTB

Heart felt conmiseration to Boos nearest and dearest
A true dyed in the wool blade who loved the club. A loss of tragic proportions for both the family and his chosen extended family of blades. Watch over dem blades pal next season .. will be cheering us on for you

Completely thrown me this :( I played against and managed against Keiran many time at Dinnington and Anston ,we became good friends when we realised who we both were and met up frequently. He also helped me sort a big problem I had a couple of years ago. A genuinely great bloke ,this has knocked me sideways.
Only yesterday we spread the ashes in Derbyshire of a very close friend of mine who was a contributor on here , and know to Foxy and SF ,although he died 5 years ago.
Sad times :(:(

Very sad news. Met him once, night before the Hull semi final I think in a pub on Goodge Street, lovely chap.
