Thanks for posting that. I was getting more and more gloomy reading the thread, and then his last 2 posts made me laugh. What great last words to us - a witty, quirky take on a bit of Blades news. RIP Boo

Very sad news. We all have our views on this board, and we don't always agree with each other, but it really is heart breaking when a board member and fellow Blade passes. It's like we've all lost a family member in a way.

This is a message from Mrs Boo and Boo juniors. We're sorry to announce that sadly boo passed away this morning at 8am. Boo suffered a heart attack, which beat the best efforts of some of Yorkshire's finest paramedics. We're hurting and we're sure many of you will too. This forum has been a big part of his life, and we know he considers many of you good friends. This was Boo's social media. No twitter. Never on facebook. But the S24su forum! Always a thread to show us and its brought a lot of joy and laughter, so thank you! A little comfort is that he got to see us reach the premier league, but at the same time heart broken we won't get to share the experience with him. Its been a beautiful few weeks full of special memories. We'll keep you updated should anyone wish to say goodbye in the coming weeks. Much love and UTB

Oh, that is sad news.
Boo was on here when I first joined and he was a top poster and a funny guy. I am really sorry for your loss and I will miss him on here.
As you say, at least he saw one of the best seasons we’ve had watching the Blades (and I go back to the days of Woodward and Currie).

Absolutely awful news. I lost my dad in similar, sudden circumstances so my deepest and heartfelt condolences to you Mrs Boo and your family and friends.

He will be sorely missed by many of us on here who liked a thoughtful and balanced take on Blades things.
