Having had an enjoyable day out at the Rotherham game, my thoughts have turned to the new season, and plotting our progress each week against a few targets.

In terms of promotion, Graph 1 shows the Championship points achieved by the Top 3 since 2000, and 92 is still the clear target for Top 2.

The Playoffs are, of course, a new story this year, as they go down to 8th.
Chart 1 shows the last 10 seasons, and so I am going to use 70 points as our target for getting to the Playoffs.

So, each week Graph 2 will show my comparisons against those targets, with my line to achieve those targets being based on who we play each week.

In Graph 3, I will also run a comparison against our last 2 years (hopefully showing that we can match the 24/25 season)!
I’ve used the 92 points achieved for 24/25, without the deduction, as it’s performance that is the comparison.

Finally, I always show my forecast end of season table – as I use this to plot the target lines for Graph 2 above.

As you can see, I have us 8th in Chart 2 – with us getting the 70 points needed for the Playoffs.

If Big Harry is confirmed, I would probably push us up to 6th with about 75 points.

Blues will be a tough start on August 15th - I’ll settle for 1-1, and hope for 2-1!

GraphMan is back, must nearly be new season.

Although, what do they say about one swallow - doesn’t make a bj?!

Anyway, you heard it here first - if Harry Souttar signs we go up in Top Two!!

By the way, I meant to say, you are way wrong about Burnley - they are in free fall, and about to do a Luton!

I think that's a really good idea WORKSOPBLADE .

I would guess it would be about 80 for 4th place - so would give us three fairly evenly-spaced targets at 70, 80 and 92.
Get it done GraphMan!

Anyway, as I said in my comment above, I'm hopeful that we fork out for Harry (King of the Dingoes, The Aussie VIP!) and we're only interested in one target - 92 or bust!

Well done for your hard work it will be so proud interesting to follow even if we win one draw one and lose one we can track our ‘progress’ hopefully all is not lost by Xmas
