I'm relatively new to this website as you all know but I just wanted to say what a huge breath of fresh air this place is and would like to say a big thank you to Foxy and everyone involved in providing it to us.

The chat boards on here are fantastic with a good mix of banter and dare I say a few veterans who are full of knowledge and overall i've already had some good reads.

Some of the features on this site are cracking. Upon logging on last night when I got home from the game I was greeted by the Player rating system which I think is fantastic and is another top feature you have on the site.

Anyway once again a bit thank you. It's great to have a place to come and discuss all things united in between the games. I will be donating as a means of thanks.

I would just like to echo what highpeakblade has said but with some. I love Foxy and Linz. They are my favourite celebrity couple and I have photos of them all over my bedroom wall, along with a map showing their daily whereabouts (big thanks to my mate in GCHQ - I owe you a pint next time I don't see ya). I love them so much that I have surreptitiously placed covert cameras all around their property, at my own expense, so that I can monitor them to make sure that no harm befalls them. I love you Foxy and Linz!

But seriously not an attempt to brown nose the hierarchy or anything like that I honestly find this place a breath of fresh air and appreciate the efforts of those who provide it. Equally I have enjoyed a good read from young and old alike on here and overall it has more to offer than the generic bull that other forums have. Banter in this day and age with red tape is dying out and on top of this other forums have posts from so called fans who don't even go to The Lane so all in all it's spot on.

Some of the features on this site are cracking. Upon logging on last night when I got home from the game I was greeted by the Player rating system which I think is fantastic and is another top feature you have on the site.

It went through testing from January last year and I spent the summer making improvements, adding features and rewriting it to ensure we could build up a continual archive, rather than simply replacing the stats/votes/info every year. Hoping that people see the value in it and we can continue to increase the number of people using the system.

Once I'm happy it's totally stable (so far so good) and well used I'll start adding more features, but the next on the list is to enhance the player profiles and stats contained within.

The forum as a whole will see some more work and some improvements over the coming months.

Living in Shropshire I would like to add my thanks to Foxy and co for this site.I only lived in Sheffield for 3 1/2 years,but fell in love with United during the Alan Hodgkinson,Joe Shaw and Cecil Coldwell era and have followed them ever since.
The last few years have been very painful,but in David Weir I feel we have found a manager of substance,and someone given time who can lead us back to greener pastures.I hope he is given free rein to develop the team.
It was a pleasure to see the passing game on Friday night and not the hit and hope of last season ,where we constantly competed for 50/50 balls.
