MOTM performance tonight in Norwich’s 5-0 away win at WBA according to BBC. That’s a bit surprising.

Least Blades player ever (along with Leon Britton).

I don't remember this version of Slimane:

If tha Nose the correct answer, it's not to be sniffed atNow theres a question
Does anyone remember the home game against Tottenham in 2007 when Monty booted the ball high into the air three times in a row? I think they were all attempts to clear it, and the last one did the job.Nick Montgomery was capable of that, it just never happened. Leave it be, he was wank.
Thrown under the bus here in that awful season. Now showing he’s a player.Nick Montgomery was capable of that, it just never happened. Leave it be, he was wank.
More evidence that our recruitment that season was actually pretty good but the season itself was torpedoed by the decisions to sell Ndiaye and Berge and not sign a competent centre half to partner Ahmedhodzic.Thrown under the bus here in that awful season. Now showing he’s a player.
We needed much more and like this season, we needed players that were ready there and thenMore evidence that our recruitment that season was actually pretty good but the season itself was torpedoed by the decisions to sell Ndiaye and Berge and not sign a competent centre half to partner Ahmedhodzic.
Slimane is emphatically not a central midfielder (he's nowhere near mobile enough) so comparisons to Soumaré aren't correct. He's been playing as a 10 in Norwich's 4-2-3-1 formation so a better comparator is Callum O'Hare, who is miles better. He's easily Championship quality, would have at least made the bench week in week out for us. Problem is he wanted guaranteed minutes.
We certainly could have used him about now with our midfield issues, much better than Soumare
