I mean I guess it was somewhat obvious that the appeal of the Cup isn't what it used to be when at least a quarter of our season ticket holders didn't turn up in the last round despite the game being free, but for fuck's sake, that's truly pathetic. I did think that given the Worcester attendance and given the Oldham fans that I was travelling over with telling me they'd not sold too many that it would be poor, but less than seven thousand? It's not like the club have priced it stupidly or anything, and it's not like casual fans are going to prioritise Cov next week (standard league prices, Sunday noon kick off, on TV) over this game. I think I heard the Kop once in the game outside of the goal, three times if I listened very carefully and picked up the GCB. Fantastic support? Bollocks.

The Club got exactly what they "asked for" with this truly embarrassing crowd !!

It was " the finger " from the fans following:
a) the poor summer transfer activity
b) appalling performances & commitment on the pitch so far this season from the squad
c) failure to recognise and act on the glaring deficiencies in the squad by the Manager and then
d) the straw hat broke the camel's back was the debacle against high flying Shrewsbury, which was a total embarrassment to the whole Club.

The Board / Manager / players should sit up and take notice as this was a "wake up call" that the long-suffering, incredibly loyal supporters of this Club are sick and tired of the bullshit that emanates from the Club.

The message is " its time to stop talking the talk and to start walking the walk " !!!! Actions speak louder than words and we need some major squad surgery in January & Summer ready for our 6th season in this bloody agricultural League.

Get it sorted Board & Adkins or you're likely to see a lot more empty seats next year ........

I'm not sure if you went on Saturday ....... I did but only because I'd bought my ticket an hour before the Shrewsbury debacle kicked off !!

The performance on Saturday was turgid ...... little to comment on other than Matty Done appeared to be on his way back and put in his best performance of the season and Brayford was denied a goal after a steady performance from him. The U18s could have beaten that poor Oldham side.

We weren't worth the £10 it cost me that's a fact .......
