well they had nowt else to crow about hodgy at that time but i agree dont think john hope was ever the same keeper after that game mind we had a good un coming through at that time tom mcallister pity marsh ruined his careerI have often wondered if the fact that that game was shown on TV was a big factor in the career of John Hope. His career at the Lane started well, but his confidence and the crowd’s confidence in him never seemed to recover. He also became the butt of jokes from our ‘friends’ in S6, which is never a good sign for a keeper.
