Return of the loans and releasing players out of contract accounts for 10 players. Assuming we sell at least 1 or 2 big earners to clear some funds (Hamer, O’Hare, Tanganga, McGuinness, Chong) and then a couple of youth players for profit (Peck, Brooks, Seriki, RND, maybe One?).

5/6 could be ok as long as we bring in quality, or at least versatility. Without parachute payments we’re going to have to cut the squad back to 17/18 levels.

It probably had a lot to do with the original injury. Long haul flights have an awful affect on the body.

Yep

If we're not ruthless enough to clear out the players we've spent money on, just because we've spent money on them, that will be a mistake

We need to clear them out however we can and get them out of the way

Loans with subsidised wages, whatever, don't care

If we're planning to rely on Chong/McGuinness/Cannon/Matos etc in any way, we're going nowhere

Accept the losses, make up for it elsewhere, move on
