I've moaned for a month that we look powder puff away from home. I actually think it's more that we've played teams that set up to defend first and specifically to nullify us. Brentford backed themselves to just be better - 4-1 to us would have been a fairer score. Hopefully we continue to play well against the better teams and start to Nick wins against the teams that change specifically for us.And we have not reached the halfway stage yet
Impressive!
Tonight was our first (and only) win in November, and our first in a month, to the day (4-2 v Wigan, 27 October). Not a true reflection of the way we’ve played as we deserved 4 points v Wednesday and Forest.
I disagree on Forest, we were average at best.
Great result tonight and another 3 points from a tricky game.
So were Forest, they had once chance courtesy of multiple Freeman blunders and scored.
Hmm, not sure I agree, thought two teams that for most part nullified each other. 0-0 fair result. They were slightly more above average than us. 2 poor sides that game but they played better than we did.
We shouldn't be getting too carried away over this result. There will be a few putting it down to Wilder's genius in swapping the team around and so on but the bottom line is Brentford are a shit team and their league position confirms this, they are in a relegation battle. Saturday will be a better test of where we are (and I've no worries about this personally by the way)

Fair opinion to have. I thought that for a team of cloggers like Forest that they actually played better football than us at times and looked far more likely to score than we did, not saying they were good by any chalk but I thought they offered more than we did.
Thing is, they're really not. The departure of Dean Smith has coincided with their fall.
They have plenty of players I'd take.
The league table doesn't lie.
Ok, they're shit.
They were probably thinking the same about us if you go by the stats of our last 7 games too.
You must be following a different team to me. We lost two out of the last 7 and of the other games we should have buried two of the teams who we drew against. Not exactly shit. Last nights result was a fair reflection of where the two teams are at the moment. I think you should have a trip to the docs, seems like you haven't yet shaken off last season's attack of Brentforditis.

We're 100% for the season in London then because that's us played our full complement down there. If we can win at Wigan and Preston we'll be 100% for Lancashire as well.Including all 3 London away games. Wonder if we've ever done that before?
I think you need to think a little beyond...they're near the bottom, they're shit.
Yep, that's the way it works.
