I haven't counted up but I had an ankle fusion on 3rd August and was on the injured list until December.

Just as soon as I could get my crutches and boot from Morley to BDTBL under my own steam I did.

Saw all the home games from then on, but away trips just too much of a challenge.

My recovery however is going well, I have been retired on health grounds (not much call for one legged posties) and next season I will be making up for this seasons misses.

40/46 for me this year. Better than I thought considering two of these were because of an operation.

Missed some crackers: Crewe A, Walsall A, Shrewsbury H, Bury A, Blackpool A, Fleetwood A.
Imagine where we would have finished if you had gone to those games!

You could be playing in midfield next season, you won't be any slower than the current lot!

24 - all home games plus Chezzy away. Shrewsbury at home will live long in the memory.

I went to all 46, and am I glad that`s over!

Highlight for me, was the win at Swindon, thought we were going to be unstoppable, and Peterborough.

Out of the many many lowlights, defeats at Millwall, Crewe and Southend, and the realisation we were condemned to another League One season.

Home highlights, Bradford and Gillingham.
Lows, Shrewsbury, and especially Colchester, which set the alarm bells ringing after winning 4 out of 6, and on the back of an unlucky home loss to Bury.

Hope we stick with Adkins, give him another year.

Roll on the first friendly!

I don't know whether to offer you my deepest condolences or recommend that your sectioned!

Mind you, one of them was Bury away

For me that was without doubt the poorest I've seen us since being in league one, never mind this season. We drove home in silence, shell shocked from what we had just witnessed

I`d blanked that one from my mind!, horror show

We could genuinely have conceded 5+ if it wasn't for Georges heroics. The players just didn't want to know and looked a little upset that they had to go out and earn there money while it was raining. It's the one game I can honestly say they deserved all the dogs abuse they got. No player goes out to lose a game but the effort levels in that match were non existent. Shameful

And Adkins said we played well

Done 35 league games and 6 cup. Sometimes think I should find something better to do with my time!

Only started going to away games when we dropped to league 1 and with the bonus of 60+ concessions and senior rail card I thought it would be an excuse to see areas of the country I would otherwise not visit. The novelty of visiting the likes of Walsall, Hartlepool etc is beginning to wear a bit thin now.

Trying to look forward to the possibility of Accrington next season though.

20 home games, and we won the 3 I missed v Chez, Donny and Oldham!
4 away games, Wigan, Donny, Chez and f*cking Bury!
1 cup game v Worcester.

It really does sound like Bury away was the most pathetic of them all, and my God that says a lot, because I was at Crewe and Port Vale.

Shrewsbury at home still stands out in my mind. I've never seen anything like it. It was the most unprofessional and clueless exhibition of professional football I've ever seen. First we capitulate to Shrewsbury, then we play with literally no midfield for 40 minutes. It was staggering.

Did anyone on the forum manage to attend all 46 matches this season? If so you have my respect, I went to 30 and that seemed like more than enough!

I managed 39 in total, my son 32 , I have to admit the away fan base is great, you have some great laughs. For next season I will be in my new home in Kielder Forrest which is going to be a round trip of 388 miles for home games. Which will be a further 80 miles than this season. I do not want to think of the miles for away games. We have to book hotels on Friday nights. Midweek games are best as I can arrange to be where the Blades are playing with work. But who cares I'm with my son and following my only passion. (apart from my wife of course who gives me permisson to go every week.)

I went to none
Very proud of myself as well, it's easy to creep back now and again but I was determined it wasn't happening

I've dropped them like a bad habit

Didn't renew ST last season but made about half home games plus Donny away - renewed this season because you can't beat the atmosphere on the kop win, lose or draw - best supporters in the land, us Blades

Old habits die hard UTFB

No season ticket for me but did 22 out of 23 homes games, missed Scunny. Would have gone if it had been on a Saturday afternoon but with it being Sunday was left weighing up whether it would be better to be bored shitless for an hour and a half at the Lane or to have a day out at the coast with our lass and little 'un. Three hours in the car on the way to Skeggy, stuck in traffic jams at Wragby, Horncastle and Skegness had me thinking b@st@ard I should have gone to the Lane. However, a phone call at 1.30 to my mate on the Kop soon made me realise I'd done the right thing. Yorkshire coast next time though!

My Uncle, who doesn't post on here, hasn't missed a Sheffield United league or cup game since 1980 home and away.
Your Uncle does deserve an award from the club! I first started watching the Blades in 1980, there have been many good times as well as the obvious painful memories!

I'll barely remember a thing.

Lucky bastard. I have tried every therapy going to get rid of the memory of Burton at home.

Didn't go to Bury and Shrewsbury was terrible but Burton stands out for me as it wasn't so much a poor performance but an absolutely nothing performance against a side who had started to wobble and had half fit players. I have never seen a more lethargic, effortless, disjointed nothing performance from a United side. It wasn't that they did things badly, it was that they just didn't do things at all. awful :-(
