No Pigs, I see. Ernie Moss and his Milk Cart outscoring them in their division of choice

Yes, for a few months in 1972/73. He played for Wendy too before going to Cardiff as John Toshack's replacement in November 1970War boys played for us didn't he?
I bet Cardiff appreciated that deal what I remember of Warboys he was a bit of cart horseYes, for a few months in 1972/73. He played for Wendy too before going to Cardiff as John Toshack's replacement in November 1970
Every striker in that division 1 list was quality.
in classic English manager style i seem to remember that in the Poland game TC played 'on' the wing.. they did that with all the great players in the 70's and still do (Paul Scholes anyone?). they love a nice lad plodder over anyone with a bit of style and class. i remember Alan Hudson destroy West Germany by himself once and he didn't get picked for the next game
I remember Warboys in Cardiff's line up on that great night in '71...also remember Frank Worthington used to be quite entertaining when came out for the warm up,which was more of a kick around..no cones or drills...he used to be juggling the ball around and doing a few tricks..some great strikers in that list.Yes, for a few months in 1972/73. Scored twice in Bristol Rovers fightback to beat us by 3-2 at BDTBL in December 1976. Ex-Blade Dave Staniforth was the other scorerHe was but he had a good partnership with Bruce bannister that year - they were nicknamed "smash and grab". They scored 7 times between them when they won 8-2 at Brian Clough's Brighton, which was on match of the day and is no doubt on YouTube.
True. 5-a-side after work today.Who do you think you are kidding....................?

Ah! The penny's dropped now. Good one! Thankfully, you didn't call me 'Mr.Hitler'.I was trying to be clever by quoting the first line of the Dad's Army theme. Either the reference was lost on you or you ignored it because it wasn't very funny![]()
