If we win our next two games il look at the league, until then il just take your word for it.

If Bradford beat Millwall at home tomorrow, the gap will be back up to 6.

It's completely up to us, int it.

At this stage, with only a few points being the difference, you have to put that run together. It's possible, but anyone who's seen us play knows it's not going to happen.

I'm int pub at the moment watching Swindon vs Wigan. Swindon are 5 points behind us, but they move the ball around faster than we can ever hope to do this season. They've just gone 2-0 down to a cracker from Wigan that we could never score.

WE ARE MISSING QUALITY ALL OVER.

Our form is nowhere near good enough.

There's plenty to be optimistic about for next season but we were a distant and totally ineffective second at Millwall and after we yet again squandered chance after chance 3-3 today would not have been unfair. Against a very poor team.

8 games. 5 against teams above us I think.

Agree . Does Adkins give a interview with tongue in cheek or diplomatic answers without taking a breadth .

The bloke is either deluded or the right man for the job . I cannot work him out yet and I don't think i ever will .

Too higher a hill to climb with too many teams in the frame for that 6th spot , but let's give it a go .

Adkins future is in the hands of the board , so I am sure they have full confidence and understands the blokes thinking patterns and his vision for now and the future .

UTB

If any of the teams we play in the next weeks have done their job and scouted us today they will have seen in that second half how to play agianst us.

If Crewe who are dead can do that I suspect others can and do it better as well.

Let's just give it up - it ain't gonna happen!!
We had enough chances to make a real impact and and a promotion push but we just spunked it away.
Maybe next year.

To stand any chance, we need to go to Southend and win on Wednesday, then turn Walsall over next Saturday.

It's not going to happen.

Difficult to disagree with that, sadly. At the moment we can't put together a consistent 90 minutes, let alone the 5 or 6 consecutively consistent 90 minutes we'd need for a run.

After its initial run-outs I thought 3-5-2 might have made us hard enough to beat for us to grind out a few clean sheets and narrow wins--just enough for us to do enough, as it were. But Adko has switched his systems all season. Every now and then it looks like he's hit on a formula, but eventually everything he's tried (and I think he's actually been quite inventive at times) is found out because the players just aren't good enough. Sad to say after a win, but today was another case in point ...

This is how I've seen things all season. Ultimately there isn't enough in midfield is there? The defence isn't solid enough either. No matter what he tries, they let him down (He's also got to look at himself on both players brought in and those he's selected)

I dream a dream of dreams gone by......

We're four points from the play-offs.
Tottenham Hotspur are five points behind Leicester City.

Should they concede the title?

Course not. I've not given up on this season either, on the basis that most of the teams above us are almost as ropey as us. But we're running out of games :(

Absolutely correct. 4-4-2, 4-5-1, 3-5-2, whatever we do, our inconsistency and lack of quality comes down to one thing: the players are not very good.

Are you high or just giddy off the back of a win.... Or maybe both? :)

Good result tonight Coventry losing to Peterborough.

We are just 1 point behind them and as gash as we are, are picking up more points than them at the moment.

Just the small matter of winning a few games in a row and things could get interesting.
