Max Lowe would be the first obvious one to look to offload if we have to trim numbers (rather than raise money as I don't think we would get much). Even on paper he was an utterly bonkers signing - a specialist left back behind Stevens, RND, Robinson and Osborn in the pecking order.

Not that it's ever likely to get out but the reason he was signed would make an interesting read I'm sure.

Given the current market, I'm not he sure would have any transfer value.

Given the current market only Fulham, West Brom and Blackburn have any money to spend in the championship. If it’s not Berge or Rammers, I don’t see how, who or why anyone pays money upfront for the other players on offer.

So if the rumours are true about having a large squad that needs trimming whilst obtaining some income to wheel and deal don’t expect any signings because we are in limbo. SJ is being paid a good amount of money to manage a team, it might fall on him to do just that without any additions.

The saying can’t have all the cake and eat it springs to mind. Something may need to be sacrificed.

We're all peeved at lack of progress but sadly it was inevitable that we'd have to wait for business to be done, we've seen it previous seasons, although previously we've added one - three before the start of the season, but relatively speaking we've never been as strong as we are now squad wise (some may disagree there) key business is often done late, such as Norwood coming in during the promotion season. We are hamstrung by waiting for PL clubs ready to release better loan players and also by knowing whether Berge and Rammers will go. I don't think it's that we've not got the money but if we wait to see if Berge goes we know we need to replace him and have a bigger budget to do so. That's my guess anyway.

even if we manage to hold on to rammy and berge we still need minimum 1 centre back and 2 midfielders in this window theres no getting away from it so we have to find the funds for these 3 players or we could end up being mid table at best
