Sharpe trying to claim that goal is a disgrace.

Just out of interest - you know the guy who's tattoo you're named after?

How do you spell his name again...?

The way it`s spelt on Bladesmad as my user name mate.
And yes I do know him. Very well. Have for many years, his mum and dad too. BEEN to plenty of games with BEANY.

Keep your old man going in the right hole pal.

Sorry, you're saying you know Sean Bean personally, and yet when you named yourself after him when joining this site, you spelt his name incorrectly - and in all the time since you never noticed. Then you called me a retard, and called Jehovah a disgrace, for misspelling someone's name in a single post.

I mean, it doesn't really bother me, but it wasn't me who was going on about how critically important it is to spell people's names correctly...

Just watched the fourth offside goal and froze play at the split second that the header is knocked back to Sharp who nets. Whilst it is a very close call and he moves forward to head the ball, to me he is in line when the header to him is made when u look at the pitch markings. Imo Sharps disallowed goal (whilst understandably chalked off) was a legit goal. He was level when the header to him was made.

I`ll make this simple for you as you are clearly very simple.
When I joined this site I chose a very similar user name, but not an identical one. Down to remembering different log ins for different sites, not that it`s really owt to do with you.
So in short, yes I know Sean, his family, but most importantly how to spell his name as my previous post to you clearly shows. You on the other hand are too thick to spell Sharp.
Now FFS run along and bother someone else.

But you're saying that spelling someone's name correctly is so crucial that you should be allowed to throw abuse at people for spelling someone's name incorrectly, yet in your own username you misspell the name of a personal friend (whether deliberately or accidentally).

Anyway, none of that is important. The important bit is this:

I don't usually engage in these sort of debates on forums, but I have done this time for one reason. I used to be able to come on this site and enjoy interesting debate with fellow Blades. I could make mistakes, as could others, and receive no more than a good humoured correction. Recently, nobody is allowed to put a word wrong without having their head bitten off. It turns nearly every thread into a boring mud-slinging contest like this one.

All I'm saying is, next time you see that someone's made a mistake, why not take a breath, and think about whether it's really necessary to give them a mouthful of abuse? After all, it's possible you may have made a mistake once upon a time too. If you come on the internet looking for an argument, there are plenty of forums where that's easy to achieve. Let's keep this one forum as somewhere we can relax and talk about the team we all love, and not have to worry about the consequences of a word or a letter out of place - and where we don't have to trawl through pages of personal arguments to find anything at all about United.

This has always been the best United forum for good debate, and mutual respect between posters. Let's keep it that way.

Up the Blades.

Got really bored after the first line so skipped the rest.
Just bother to spell our players names right.
UTB

Brammall Lane. Have some of that.

Technically your probably spelling it right. The ground was named after the Brammall family who owned the big old white house (long since demolished) which stood on the corner of the Bramall Lane / Cherry Street. The ground should therefore be called Brammall Lane, but no doubt some council admin cock up ended up with one of the 'm's going missing. See, the council have always been crap.

So why is Sharpe determinedly pointing to himself to claim the goal?
not sure but where Ricky is right is that Sharp isn't offside. I've just played it back frame by frame and he's level (even a bit behind) with their last man. Shit decision.

My favourite offside goal of all time was Peschi against Palace in the league cup Quarter Final. About 5 yards off but given. Rare slice of luck for us, probably why I remember it.
loved that goal, Warnock certainly didn't moan about the ref that night did he?

It was the worst refereeing decision I think I've ever seen. Miles off

I agree, he looks level to me. Although in fairness the assistant doesn't have the benefit of frame by frame replays.

Being unable to get to games (health issues) I rely on the highlights and reading the guys on here reactions to the games , but the positive thing is we have have players now getting into those areas where goals are scored I agree nothing wrong with flecks goal but nows the time for sharp and done to possibly get a physical side ?? ( watch some videos of billy dearden)
