That George Long bright yellow away shirt I got on the cheap in the club shop has got a 100% win record so far, what with Shrewsbury and Bury, so in the washing machine it went and it's back on today. I'm not superstitious really (I leave that to Alty Blade), but it just felt right. Look out for me; I'm easy to spot, from a couple of miles away as it happens.

Thank fuck we have £1.2m in the bank from the sale of Blackman, that should help us on the run in.

In all seriousness its been a creditable turnaround and well done to DW and the lads for starting a run (hopefully) when it really matters. I pray for a promotion for all the obvious reasons but also because DW deserves massive credit for never running around with his head on fire, never talking more than he has to and just getting on with what is an increasingly difficult job. Win another 5-6 on the spin in this league and we could be clear by some way. Its a terrible division with no stand out team. Could be just the way we need it.
