No chance Pigs stay up….they need 56pts from 34 games to get to 50 pts. Thats 1.65 pts per game = play off form. Or 19 wins from 34 games. Even my optimistic extended Pig family are expecting League 1 next season ( However they are already telling me they will win it with 100 pts plus)

I don't know whether this is an unpopular opinion or not, but Wednesday should have got a hell of a lot more points than they have.

They very rarely get thrashed. It's usually one or two goal defeats. They've got a number of draws. A team like that should win 4 or 5 games minimum.

That Doncaster team with the current low points from a 46 game season (20 in 1997-8) had no resources at all, and yet managed to win 4 matches. Hell, we won 3 PL games 2 seasons ago and seven in 2021 when we only scored 20 goals.

I'm not saying they should stay up or anything, but that squad should not be this bad in results terms.

I suppose I'm saying Pedersen has done a lousy job.

I would also add that I am not sorry about this at all!

Yes, they are sitting deep, but you should be able to fluke a win here and there.

Even their only win was to some extent a fluke.

I'd agree with all this - its a good job that they are starting next season with basically no players - because the ones that have turned out this year have show about as much backbone as a jellyfish.

Even in the PL with a massively underpowered squad we got to 16 points.

There’s no way they should have got only 14 points this season. I reckon Chesterfield or Grimsby would have got 20 points if they’d played in the Championship this season.
