That's a terrific start for Billy Sharp, hope that gives him all the confidence he needs for the upcoming season.... and of course the rest of the game. :)

Finished 1-0 to the Blades.

Look out on the main site for pics and a report as soon as Foxy and Linz can sort it out.

They have to find a wireless connection and don't forget they are charging the laptop up in the car.

They are doing a great job despite the problems.

:)

doesnt it concern anyone that we only won 1-0 againsta bunch of irish amatures?

Now now Stevey, don't start making poor excuses, ;) haha

Honestly? No......

Pre-season friendlies are there for testing, letting the players get used to each other, get some match practise in whilst avoiding injury.

totally agree robbie

ok friendlies against lower league oppositions should be won but isn't it more about players bonding with new signings and trying new tactics and things like that?

glad to see sharpy scored on his debut and with a header :D

does anyone no how the academy lads went on at glapwell?

Hello... the match report and pictures are now up and can be found HERE

We're struggling to find a tinterweb connection where we are so we've had to come across the border to upload things. ANOTHER COUNTRY!

Saw Swintonblade2 and his dad at Longford, hope they had a safe journey home.

We'll catch you tomorrow night if not before (if Foxy manages to get the tinterweb working on his phone tomorrow.)

UTB and lots of love

Linz and Foxy (currently in Starbucks in Newry City)
