Sloppy goal to concede although loved the way the Charlton fans didn't really notice for a good 5-10 seconds til the ref pointed it out.

I think they noticed, the delayed reaction was probably stunned disbelief that a side so shit could actually score a goal.

A truly shocking game the difference being once or twice we got the ball down and put a few passes together otherwise two pub teams. Any chance of the option for "nobody" on the MOTM poll ?

Voted Morgan MOTM, was pretty solid.

Rest of team were shyte,

blackwell..... clueless!

There was a queue outside the ticket office earlier and according to the lass behind the counter, they've been busy all day selling cup tickets.

Hopefully be a decent crowd from our lot, because Charlton just about filled a mini-bus a few weeks ago.
Charlton brought loads!!!!! a good coach full.

I thought Morgan was immense today. The rest were ok, did there job and nothing more. Billy needs the offside rule explaining to him again.

And can we please ask Charlton if they'd like to sell us Matt Holland? He's the one decent player they have, and I think he could do a job for us. Just my two penn'orth.

Its interesting that people are saying Blackwell is clueless.... Yet every time I looked at the bench he was telling the players to do exactly what everyone around were shouting for them to do.

i wasnt at the game today, but we won. I really cant understand some sections of the supporters. Granted we may not played well, but we won. we are gonna have more difficult games to come, and i think it would be niave to think that the management dont think the same.

It really just seems as though some are hard to please

Well sumats wrong Foxy..............

I didn't say everything was all rosy, but I just find it interesting the Blackwell was often telling the players exactly what the fans were moaning at them to do whenever I looked across.

Something may be wrong, but in the last 10 games we've won 6, drawn 3 and lost 1. That's not bad going!

I'd also like to say a big thank you to the little twat who decided that going through me and Small SV was better than going round. Fortunately for Small the youth in question didn't knock us over, and indeed seemed shocked that my not moving caused him to suddenly halt.
Perhaps next time he runs up steps my advise to "open your fucking eyes boy" might stay with him, and he will attempt the new experience of "going round" rather than trying to trample on a five year old. He should be grateful he didn't knock Small SV down, because if that had been the case I'd have launched him back down the steps he'd just hurtled up.

Anyhow, Small SV, aka Poppy, enjoyed her first Blades match, and wants to go again, but when it's a bit warmer.

I'm not complaining........................just baffled !

:D

Wednesday fans are pointing to yesterday's attendance as proof that our crowds are dwindling and ergo, they are better than us.

Erm... righty then.

Who were they playing in the cup again?

Oh yeah, they got knocked out...

Despite the fact they only got 3,000 more against a premiership club with cheap tickets...
