You'd think they'd changed that by now.

A lot of the fakes last season had. Think they come from various sweatshops and some haven’t updated it yet. Understandable given how minimal the crest change was. Probably only Unitedites who even know about it - and a lot of them probably don’t either.

The new third kit couldn't be more third kit if it tried tbh - meh. Not bad, not good, just boring. One of few shirts that'll probably look better with a sponsor on it.

Hope we never get a deep red 3rd kit, some design nerd would produce it with a red rose. Shoes off? More like flaming torch wielding mob demanding the offending thumbs of said geek.

Well we here all the bollocks about the heritage of shirts, and the reflection of the industrial history of Sheffield and how it represents the steel that the city produced, and then to "pleasingly balance the colour palette of the shirt" (I dropped into design nerd speak there) casually obliterate the white rose symbol of Yorkshire, the very County Sheffield is in.

We’re so used to seeing sponsors that any plainish away shirt was always gonna have the look of a training shirt on the release images.

It‘s weird to say but with sponsors just being the norm these days it’d probably be received much better if the sponsor was sorted and already on the kits. Obviously that’s gonna depend on the logo of the sponsor.

I think if you have no sponsor its got to have an old school collar on. If this 1998 remake had the same collar as the original it would look a lot smarter without the sponsor.

I like it in this photo. Think launch photos are a bit over exposed or camera on wrong light setting, make it look washed out

I've been banging on about pissing around with the badge for a long time, first time I've seen a black rose though. I've built the hill, it's mine!

Hopefully that 3rd kit won't be getting much of an airing. Definitely would have looked better with the original badge. Keeper top looks OK, but again would benefit from the original badge.

The collar is the same as the home which I slagged off. But it works way better on the Third with that tiny horizontal bit nicely contrasting in red.

This colour set was the best from our 2019 kit, but as far as i'm aware, we never wore the red shorts. We had the Black or White shorts
