Pretty much the bare minimum required.

Not a bad kit as far as I'm concerned, personally would have preferred thinner and an extra stripe or two.

I'm sorry to do this but I've never been a fan of the black pinstriping to id have personally made it either much thinner or got rid entire but either way, not the worst we've had. Can see where they were coming from with harking back to the old Wards shirt... Which I'm now realising has been on sale as a retro kit. It was on our faces all along

Good points

• stripes front and back
• pays homage to a classic kit
• looks great with no sponsor (club need to offer this as an option when they go on sale IMO)

Bad points
• no stripes on the sleeves, never looks right with solid sleeves.
• shorts are basically last years template, hardly bespoke as promised.
• looks a bit plain when compared to last seasons and especially the limited edition shirt.

Was expecting much more but I don't hate it. Possibly one that will grow on us

Initial reaction:

It's...OK. It's not as good as last season's design and it's not as good as the original on which it's based.

Looks better without a sponsor, that will make a big difference either way.

Stripes are too wide, and not enough of them. Bordering on Southampton-y.
