22/23 squad & transfer

PH explained over the summer that he wanted a smaller squad, 2 players for each position and 'succession' planning for each position.

At the moment and with 'confirmed' targets our squad;



Midfield is the key area for improvement. But it also shows the importance of getting Brewster/Sharp fit for the start of the season. I can see the need to get some transfer activity completed, but because the we are in a good position I can see why we are been careful and considered about the ones we bring in.

Phil has this in abundance right down to those who stepped into the pitch dlr a few minutes for the U18s!

But you are right. Distinct lack of depth in midfield and centre back. You could add Boyes at LWB. He'll be part of the planning, playing at Forest Green in League One this year.
