started off a bit shaky, 2nd half better, we miss a load of pace coming out of defence which really really worries me, does this mean we will revert to route one and go over the top.
Hendrie changed things when he came on, he needs a chance to start a few games, get something out of him for all that money, Wardy looked sharp, how many games is he suspended for?

I agree, I thought he looked a little more managerial tbf. I suppose it's entirely possible he had his mind on more important things than a friendly at Chesterfield.

The match was a bit dull but there was enough positives to make it worthwhile, Kyel Reid looks promising and it was nice to see some pace on the left. Not sure I agree with the comment that Taylor was "unsure of how to best deal with balls coming over his shoulder". I thought they (Chesterfield) were just getting a lot of misdirected passes down in that corner and he was allowing them all to sail out. To give him the benefit of the doubt; I don't remember them getting much into the box from there and we seemed to get a few throw ins in that corner.

On the downside Billy and Robertson looked like they wouldn't score in a million years, even against this level of opposition. Surely it's time to give Sharp a loan away for a year and hope his confidence picks up? Things definitely improved when Ward came on.

Linz - thanks for the report, like the pics. Are any of the new faces likely to add to what we have got? Does not appear that Little or Gray have made a big impact, though Reid has had some positive coments. Any thoughts anyone of you attendees?

I thought Little was alright actually. Thought he looked good enough to be a squad player at least.
