Aye... we played them pre-season a few years back and it wasn't all that packed. Most pre-season games are pay on the gate.

Think they gave us two stands... stood up behind the goal and the one opposite the main stand.

Someone who fetched my ticket reckons he's got 50pts for these but not us 'cos we didn't give him our numbers (hmmmmmmmmm)..... is he bullshitting?

Not sure about the points, it does say on the OS that its 50 points for an away ticket and it is an away ticket so I guess you should get the points. See you all at saltergate

Your match thread for the game at Saltergate.

Gutted i'll be missing it, I live just down the road from the tarrrn centre and could've welcome a few Blades with beers and butties.... instead i'm stuck in picturesque Zug, surrounded by lakes and Mountains...

I'd be attending if it wasn't for our training being on the same night. Gutted.

See you all there, Saltergate will be like Wembley compared to the coach and horses, although i bet the beers not as good

I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing a bit of Taylor tonight, and i think it'll speak volumes if the Kyles are there or not.

Just spoke to the ticket office, they stop selling them at 4 today but they said our website is wrong and you CAN buy them at Chesterfield. Don't shoot the messenger if that information turns out to be incorrect.

They said they've sold about 1,000 so far but expect more to be sold tonight.

Just got tickets. Anyone know the area? Any pubs for away fans (that let kids in)?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this but we were sat right between the tunnel and the bench; Blackwell was the last onto the pitch at the start and ignored the fans who were clapping him as he walked past. He was first off at half time and only looked up to wave (and gave a brief smile) when a chant of "Blackwell, give us a wave" came from a couple of people behind us. He was last out again at half time and didn't stick around at the end (unlike the players who stayed on the pitch briefly). Anyone else notice this?

TBH I wouldn't mention it with 90% of managers we've had but Blackwell is usually very enthusiastic in thanking the fans for their support away. Tonight he seemed sullen, unhappy and almost disinterested. A man considering his future? Or maybe just a drunken fan (me) reading too much into it! ;)
